This Sunday, January 24, 2010, I'm very excited to welocme local guitarist Alexander Turnquist for a live interview and performance. Why I've never known about him before I'll never know. He hails from Columbia county (north of me) and plays a very dense, intricate style in the same vain of guitarists like James Blackshaw and John Fahey. He's appearing on the show in support of his upcoming performance on Saturday, January 30, along with guitarist Kelli Rudick at the Hudson Opera House in Hudson, NY.
